    Community Foundation of Henderson County is pleased to announce the appointment of five new members to their Board of Directors following their election at the organization’s June board meeting.
  • William L. Arbuckle Memorial Scholarship Awarded Through Community Foundation of Henderson County to Ph.D. Candidate
    A Ph. D. candidate at the University of Georgia has been named the 2021 recipient of The Pisgah Chapter of Trout Unlimited William L. Arbuckle Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $1,000.
  • CFHC Awards 2021-22 Scholarships
    Community Foundation of Henderson County is pleased to announce their scholarship recipients for the 2021-22 school year. For the upcoming academic year, $537,150 is being awarded to help advance local students’ higher education. The Foundation awarded 85 new scholarships totaling $154,825 to 80 local students. For current recipients, 164 renewable scholarship awards totaling $382,325 were provided.
  • Local Charitable Giving Program Expands
    In its fifth year of providing support for local nonprofits, the Horizon Heating and Air Conditioning and Hannah Flanagan’s Charitable Giving Program is pleased to announce they have expanded for 2021. The program has recently added two new partners: local company Southern Alarm & Security and home comfort system manufacturer Trane.
  • Community Foundation Releases Annual Report
    Community Foundation of Henderson County is pleased to announce the release of their Annual Report for Fiscal Year ending June 30, 2020. Overall, more than $4.4 million in charitable grants and academic scholarships were awarded to nonprofits and local students supporting a multitude of causes.
  • Community Foundation of Henderson County Opens Online Scholarship Applications
    Community Foundation of Henderson County announced they will award over $500,000 in new and renewable academic scholarships for the upcoming school year. Ninety-one new scholarships are available for 2021-2022.
