Considerate stewardship of Community Foundation of Henderson County's assets is a chief responsibility of our Board of Directors.

Community Foundation of Henderson County values our history and reputation of being a wise and trusted steward of our donors’ charitable dollars. With assets of more than $100 million, we manage more than 700 charitable funds established by individuals, families, companies and nonprofits. We believe it is our fiduciary responsibility to protect and preserve the assets our donors entrust to us so sufficient charitable dollars are available today and for future generations.

Our Investment Committee and Board of Directors work hand-in-hand with Fund Evaluation Group to maximize returns and minimize volatility; considering the need for funds to be available in perpetuity while simultaneously having the ability to be immediately invested back in the community.
