Eating Disorder Recovery Fund

The Eating Disorder Recovery Fund is a donor-advised fund that supports awareness and education around disordered eating.

Eating disorders have the highest mortality rate of any mental illness

In the United States, 20 million women and 10 million men currently suffer from an eating disorder. Over 1/2 of teenage girls and 1/3 of teenage boys use unhealthy weight control behaviors such as skipping meals, fasting, vomiting and over-exercise. The Eating Disorder Recovery Fund wants to help make a difference for those struggling with disordered eating.

The Eating Disorder Recovery Fund is a donor-advised fund that supports awareness and education around disordered eating. The fund also helps fund eating disorder treatment to adults and children who are not insured or cannot afford treatment. The fund supports non-profits who are passionate and have the capability to meet these areas of need.

If you have lost a loved one to an eating disorder or want to honor someone who is currently in recovery this would be a notable way to recognize your loved one.
