Charlie Renfrow Trust Scholarship
Applicant must be a graduate of a high school located in Henderson County. Applicant must demonstrate financial need in pursuing a post-high school educational or training program at a trade school, technical college, community college, university, graduate school or other recognized educational institution. It is the guiding principle of this scholarship that applicants demonstrate and practice good sportsmanship.
Henderson County Educational Scholarship
This scholarship is to provide financial assistance to graduates of any Henderson County public high school.
Ray V. Dunk Scholarship (Accounting)
This scholarship is for students graduating from high school or the equivalent who are residents of Henderson County and pursuing a bachelor’s degree or the equivalent from an accredited educational institution with a focus on accounting. Applicants for this scholarship should be “top students” with high scholastic achievements and a grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4 point scale (B or better). Consideration may be given to all-round performance in school, community involvement and extra-curricular activities. Applicants must demonstrate financial need.
Rebecca S. Poole Scholarship
This educational scholarship is for a Henderson County student pursuing his or her education beyond high school.
Sigrun M. Mapes Nursing Scholarship
This scholarship is to provide financial support to a student seeking to attain a degree in the field of Nursing at an accredited institution. Student must be accepted or enrolled into a Nursing program at an accredited community college, meet and maintain the academic standards as set by the educational institution, be a legal resident of Henderson County, and demonstrate financial need.
