Gregory Stephen Wright The "Crossroads" Scholarship
Applicant should attend Hendersonville High School and be overcoming a significant and difficult challenge, such as a physical handicap, severe depression, the death of a parent, severe health complication, or having a child while in school and continuing successfully. Applicant also may be someone who faced such a challenge and then came back to school and is succeeding on a second effort. Preference will be given to those who inspire others by overcoming their challenge and who participate in extracurricular activities. An essay titled “My Crossroad Experience” is required as a part of the application to be co-signed by some significant other person in the applicant’s life who has been a part of helping in this life experience.
