As an Appalachian native, Karie traded her West Virginia roots for WNC living in 2014 when she and her family moved to Hendersonville. Since then, Karie has worked for various local nonprofits, providing both direct services and administrative support. Now, as an Administrative Assistant for CFHC, Karie is integral to our organization's record-keeping, database maintenance, and office management.
Karie has a natural passion for people and enjoys providing warmhearted, genuine, customer service. She also holds a Bachelor of the Arts in Psychology from West Virginia State University.
When not working, you can find Karie spending time with her family in the forest. Karie enjoys photography, cooking, gardening, live music, exploring the exquisite coasts of the Carolinas, and supporting her daughter's interests.
