Controller Andrea Rogers has been with Community Foundation since 2014 and is responsible for assuring that the financial activities of the Foundation are accurately maintained with the development, implementation and enforcement of financial controls and procedures that ensure timely and efficient operation and reporting.
A native of Western North Carolina, Andrea earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, N.C. and her Master of Accountancy from the Dixon Hughes Goodman Accountancy program at Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, N.C.
Andrea is an associate member of the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants and an affiliate member with the American Institute of CPAs. Andrea is a 2019 graduate of Vision Henderson County.
Andrea has a variety of experience in the not for profit sector, including ten years in healthcare as a Radiology Technologist at Mission Health in Asheville, N.C. She has worked in customer service, home-health care and has provided secretarial duties as a volunteer.
When not working, you can find Andrea spending time with her family or enjoying a meal out with friends. Andrea loves living in the mountains and enjoys hiking, swimming, reading, arts & crafts, and music.
