Camperships
Community Foundation of Henderson County has several charitable camperships that help children attend area camps.
Going to camp gets children out in nature. Unplugged from technology, they gain an appreciation for the natural environment and discover the wisdom and fun the outdoors has to offer.

Foundation Center at Blue Ridge Community College's Small Business Center
Community Foundation of Henderson County and the Small Business Center have partnered together to offer access to Foundation Center, a nonprofit organization with more than 50 years of experience connecting grantseekers and grantmakers.
Foundation Center info is:
- Accurate: Updated continually, providing the most accurate details available on U.S. funders and their grants.
- Comprehensive: Listing more than 98,000 U.S. foundations, corporate donors, 1.7 million recent grants, and more than 400,000 key decision makers.
- Easily Searchable: Users can either keyword text search all fields in this database or limit results geographically, by fields of interest, types of support, grant makers, companies, grants and IRS Form 990s. The database is updated weekly.

The Center also offers free online webinars about Foundations and Fundraising, Proposal Writing, Nonprofit Management and Starting a Nonprofit.
Reservations are required to use the grant seeking database at BRCC.
