The Friends of Jackson Dog Park is a group of dog owners who wish to improve the off-leash dog area in Jackson Park in Hendersonville, N.C. The group's mission is to work collaboratively with the Henderson County Parks and Recreation Department to provide awareness and much needed funds for improvements to the dog park.

The Friends of Jackson Dog Park's short-term goals include replacement of dilapidated fencing and a fallen shelter roof structure, improvement of the creek side accesses for the dogs, planting of shade trees for the dogs and their owners, and several miscellaneous maintenance items.
