Every year, the Community Foundation of Henderson County awards scholarships to deserving students on behalf of our donors who are committed to helping young people receive an education. For the 2007-2008 academic year, the Community Foundation awarded over $318,000 in scholarships to Henderson County students. Other scholarship program highlights include:

• 65 new scholarships awarded, totaling $116,000 in assistance
• 97 scholarships renewed, totaling $202,561.91 in assistance
• Since 1984, the CFHC has awarded approximately $2.72 million in scholarships to 703 Henderson County students
