The community of Fletcher is defined as the area which lies within the boundaries of the Town of Fletcher, a North Carolina municipal corporation. Grants are recommended by an advisory committee of Fletcher residents. Grants are generally considered for specific projects and not ongoing organizational support.

Key areas of interest for these grants include:

  • Arts and culture
  • History and historic preservation
  • Education
  • Civic activities

The Fletcher Community Fund encourages proposals that:

  • Demonstrate collaboration
  • Affect a broad segment of the population
  • Are relevant to overall community needs and available resources
  • Have reasonable prospects for future support
