The CFHC accepts gifts of appreciated stocks and mutual funds. For assistance in making stock gifts please contact Crystal Reese, VP Finance & Administration, or Amy Robinson, Finance Associate, at (828) 697-6224.

For gifts of physical stock certificates please come by the Foundation for these are handled in a different manner; appointments are preferred.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are making a transfer please inform the Foundation staff; otherwise, the processing of your gift could be delayed.

If you would like to create your own Letter of Instruction click here; you will need to call the Foundation to obtain our Account # and DTC # for any of the brokers listed above. Certain brokers require a notary or medallion stamp in addition to your signature - check with your broker to determine if this is needed for your particular transfer. If you choose to create your own letter please be sure to save the document onto your computer for easy access and click your browser's back button to return to the CFHC website.

If your broker is not listed above, the Foundation has a preference of using Charles Schwab for your transfer needs; however, we would also be happy to work with your preferred broker.
