Richard C. and Vina L. Sauer Charitable Leadership Award

Since 1994, Community Foundation of Henderson County has been honoring local philanthropists making a difference in our community with the annual Richard C. and Vina L. Sauer Charitable Leadership Award.

Presented at the Community Foundation's Annual Luncheon, the Sauer Charitable Award is CFHC's highest honor and celebrates special individuals who provide outstanding leadership through their personal philanthropic efforts in Henderson County.

Nominees for the award must be living residents of Henderson County. Committees, corporations and organizations are not eligible. Nominations are currently being accepted for the 2017 Award. Nomination open for 2017 Award

Nominees must be living resident(s) of Henderson County. Primary focus is on personally engaged philanthropy, contribution toward charitable projects, providing leadership to solve community problems and/or to meet community needs.
