The Community Foundation of Henderson County, nominated by the Children and Family Resource Center, was awarded “Outstanding Foundation” from the Association of Fundraising Professionals in honor of National Philanthropy Day on November 18 at the Crowne Plaza Resort in Asheville. Donor of the Decade
Community Foundation Named Donor of the Decade On April 8, 2008. The Community Foundation was named Donor of the Decade at the Park Ridge Hospital Foundation’s Annual Appreciation Breakfast. Our involvement has supported a variety of Park Ridge programs such as health screening programs, Preschoolers Reaching Educational Potential or (PREP), and Kid Power that helps provide access to healthy living for the good of the community. We are honored by this special recognition.
