About Us
For twenty-eight years, Community Foundation of Henderson County has been helping people who care make lasting contributions to causes that matter. The Foundation offers donors simple ways to achieve their charitable goals and provides support to nonprofit organizations who offer needed and meaningful services to our community.
For the fiscal year ending in 2010, CFHC distributed $2.0 million to many nonprofit organizations and scholarship seekers in the Henderson County area and beyond. With assets over $61 million, CFHC comprises more than 482 different charitable funds.
CFHC is governed by a board of directors, made up of a cross section of Henderson County; created by and for the people of Henderson County.
